Events

Events are part of any great server! We will be having many events, of all kinds, and many different prizes. The events will allow you to meet some people, make some enemies, and win some great stuff, while having tons of fun! Events may include large group efforts, smaller parties, free for alls, and ones where everyone wins! Events will be divided into two kinds: announced events, and spontaneous events.

Announced Events:

Announced events will always be announced on the forums (in the events section) and on the website (news section) at least 1 week in advance. These events will offer better prizes than spontaneous events, because they give you some time to prepare. Also, the prizes to these events are set, and will most likely be announced beforehand as well. Winners to these events will have their character names posted in the event forum's section. Be sure to check forums often so you don't miss out!

Spontaneous Events:

Spontaneous events will occur in game when a GM is allowed to. Events will NEVER be thrown just because a GM feels like it. Also, please do not ask for events. Spontaneous events will not have as great of a prize yield as announced ones. Frequently, the prizes of spontaneous events will be: "Gold Coins." These coins are redeemable through the Reward Twins, located in Prontera. The coins are transferable and storage-able; you can even sell them or give them away! Since Gold Coins can only be obtained as spontaneous event prizes, be sure to stick around and participate!

For those players who aren't big fans of events, RaijeRO has just added dead branch gold coins! Every monster that is spawned from a dead branch, has a 0.15% chance to drop a gold coin! So if you still want those coins, get to hunting!

Event Etiquette:

The staff here at RaijeRO loves to hold events for the players to have fun. Events typically are a nice break away from the regular leveling grind, and from PvP/WoE. We take pride in holding these events for the players to enjoy, and quite frequently take player suggestions to use in our events. We put a lot of effort into making events fun, so we would appreciate if players would keep comments and criticism to themselves until after the event. If a player begins getting unruly, whiny, or unnecessarily critical of the staff during any spontaneous or announced event, the GM staff reserves the right to remove that player from the event.
